We offer a peer support group, the Brain Injury Peer Support Group, with the goal of supporting individuals with brain injury in the community. Peer support group meetings provide opportunities for individuals and caregivers to connect and learn from one another by sharing experiences, resources, and advice related to brain injury and the recovery process. These meetings also foster friendships and a sense of community among members. Our peer support group meetings are confidential and led by trained student moderators. Every so often, we invite guest speakers in the brain injury field to give a talk and lead a discussion at peer support group meetings.
